Associate Pastor Part Time Children’s Ministry Leader Ministry Trainee

Associate Minister

We are seeking the right candidate to join theteam as an Associate Minister from July 2022.

The role will involve sharing significantly in the preaching and teaching ministry of the church, giving oversight to our burgeoning ministries among young workers and students, and partnership with the Rector in overseeing the church’s outreach, training and pastoral care.

We are a Christ-centred Anglican church, and part of Gafcon’s Anglican Network in Europe. The Associate Minister will join the current staff team of Rector, Associate Minister (Women’s Ministry), Administrator, Minister in Training and Youth Pastor in Training.

St Silas Church
Part Time Children’s Ministry Leader

We are seeking the right candidate to join our staff team with oversight of our ministry among children and families. This will be a part time, paid role, which could stand alone or be taken on by a candidate alongside further training.

We are looking for somebody committed to Christ-centred, Bible-based ministry among children, who would be excited to grow young disciples, to encourage and equip the team of volunteers who serve in children’s ministry, to help parents in discipling their children, and to think strategically about how to grow the work and reach out to new families.

St Silas Church
Ministry Trainee

At St Silas we are seeking ministry trainees to join our team, to begin in September 2021 in a two year role. Formal training is provided Cornhill Scotland, a 2 days-a-week course based in Glasgow (or an alternative, as agreed).

St Silas Church is a growing, Bible-believing Anglican church in the heart of the west end of Glasgow.

We thank God for an enthusiastic staff team and wider ministry team, a minister-in-training and several ministry trainees. The church family enjoys a whole range of ages and nationalities, bringing a variety of exciting ministry opportunities, including children’s ministry, youth ministry, involvement in Sunday services, music ministry, and UK and international students. A means tested living grant is available.
